Next Steps for the Giants; Do They Have a Path to Redemption?

We all love a redemption story, and this is my attempt to write one for the Giants. The Giants are sitting at the bottom of the league with only 2 wins through week 12. No one thought they were going to be a Super Bowl team coming into this season (besides delusional fans) but two and ten is just horrible. We can blame it on the fact that their team has been absolutely decimated by injury upon injury. They have a young lineup with tons of talent that could turn them into a pretty good team. I think it is just going to take time for their players to develop Malik Nabers is putting up one of the best rookie performances we have ever seen. I think they really need to get a stud QB in the draft, someone like Shedeur Sanders, Jalen Milroe, or Cam Ward. All of these guys definitely have a lot of things they need to be coached up on to play well at the NFL level but they have all shown a tremendous amount of potential in college ball. Sadly for the Giants, we don’t have amazing Quarterback talent in this draft. Sure all these players are great but I think they would all benefit from sitting behind a veteran Quarterback. I think the Giants are about to have a situation like Baker Mayfield or Sam Daranoald where they're going to have a bad rookie season but then excel as a backup once they get traded and prove that they deserve a starting spot. Even paired up with Malik Nabers none of these guys are ready for a starting spot on the NFL roster. I think the only thing the Giants can really do is remain patient and wait for a QB to come along who is NFL-ready immediately. Hopefully, they can fix the team soon cause if they are still this bad once Malik hits free agency he will definitely try and leave. The grand conclusion of this article is I failed. It's going to be a while before there is any good. I'm betting that they're going to become the next Panthers even if they get good rookie QB talent there just to kill them. Even if Malik turns out to be the next Justin Jefferson it won’t be enough. Giants fans get ready for the long haul of season after season of failed talent and hopes ruined for young fans all around the country.
